Nick Price!

Third Time A Charm For Price

After losing his 36-hole lead in each of the past two Principal Charity Classic's, Nick Price vowed to himself that this time would be different, and it was.

Price, who again was the 36-hole leader with Tommy Armour III, pulled away with a 4-under-par 67 on Sunday to claim the winner’s spot by four strokes over Armour, who had an even-par 71 for his final round. Price’s 54-hole total was 14 under 199.

John Cook and Loren Roberts tied for third place at 9 under par.

“I did all the right things today,” said Price. “The chip-in on hole 6 was significant and I made a lot of 6-footers today. My driving really set me up and I really played solid. I didn't doubt myself today. I feel that if I play well now, there’s no excuse for me not to win. I am thrilled.”
