How to Enter: To enter, on Sunday, June 1, 2008, complete and submit the entry form, while supplies last, during The Principal Charity Classic at the main entrance, information booth, or to any of the Ambassadors on the course. Entries must be received no later than Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. Central Time (“CT”). Limit one (1) entry per person. Mechanically reproduced entries will not be accepted.
Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is open to all attendees of The Principal Charity Classic on Sunday, June 1, 2008 who are legal residents of the continental United States and 21 years of age or older. Employees of Midlands Choice (“Sponsor”), employees, vice president level and above, of The Principal Financial Group®, employees, vice president level and above, of Wells Fargo, employees, vice president level and above, of the Bruno Event Team, and members of the immediate families (parent, spouse, child and sibling) and households, whether or not related, of any such employees, are not eligible to enter or win the prize. Void outside the continental United States and where prohibited. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
Selection of Winner: Odds of winning the prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Sponsor will randomly select one (1) potential winner on June 1, 2008 at approximately 3:00 p.m. CT immediately following trophy presentation, on the 18th green, after tournament play from among all eligible entries received. Winner must be present at the trophy presentation and award drawing to win. The decisions of Sponsor are final and binding in all matters. Potential winner will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility/release of liability and, unless prohibited, publicity within ten (10) days from the date it was sent. In the event the potential winner is not present at the announcement, the affidavit/release is not returned within the specified time period, or the potential winner is ineligible or does not comply with the terms of these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, awarded to an alternate winner.
Prize: The winner will receive a trip to the 2009 Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, GA. The trip includes round trip airfare for two (2) people, a two-night (2) deluxe hotel stay and (2) tickets to the tournament on the final day of play (Sunday, April 16, 2009). The approximate retail value of the prize package is $3,000. No transfer, cash redemption or substitution of the prize is permitted, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. All prize details not specified herein are at the sole discretion of Sponsor.
General Conditions: By entering, an entrant agrees (i) to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects, (ii) if a winner, to the use by Sponsor and its designees to his/her name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity without additional compensation, notification or permission, unless prohibited by law, and (iii) to release and hold harmless Sponsor, The Principal Charity Classic, Principal Financial Group, Inc., Wells Fargo, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, prize suppliers and advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, shareholders and agents (collectively “Releasees”) from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Sweepstakes or the acceptance or use of the prize, or any travel/activity associated herewith. Releasees shall not be responsible for lost, late, illegible, inaccurate, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, undelivered, delayed or damaged entries, or for lost or stolen entry boxes, nor for mechanical, technical, printing, typographical, human, or other errors relating to or in connection with the sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the winner or the prize or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, if for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes or any element thereof. If terminated, Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the action requiring such termination.
Winner’s Name: For the name of the winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Principal Financial Group, Attn: Chris Riedel-King, 711 High Street, S-006-E30, Des Moines, IA 50392-0150, after June 1, 2008. Requests must be received by June 30, 2008.
