Pedal to the Principal® Charity Classic
Inaugural bike ride to PGA TOUR Champions tournament
DES MOINES, Iowa– The Principal® Charity Classic invites spectators to bike to the tournament on Sunday, June 2 with the inaugural Pedal to the PCC ride.
Pedal to the PCC sponsored by GreenState Credit Union and Big Grove Brewery is a free event with advanced registration required. The ride starts at general spectator parking, makes a stop at Big Grove and winds through downtown Des Moines ending at Wakonda Club, host venue for the Principal Chairty Classic.
“We know that to foster a more secure world, we must be mindful of our impact on it.” said Alex McCarty Principal Charity Classic Tournament Director. “Pedal to the PCC is one of the many ways the tournament works to drive positive change while encouraging spectators to be environmentally responsible.”
Registered participants will receive a free admission ticket to the Principal Charity Classic, map of the recommended route, free bike valet at the tournament, free drink coupon to be used on-course and commemorative water bottle. Participants will also be entered to win a free bike donated by Bike World.
