Ways to support Iowa youth.
The Principal Charity Classic raises money for Iowa youth charities through an exciting, family-friendly event that also contributes greatly to the economic vitality and quality of life in Central Iowa. In 2024, the Principal Charity Classic raised $8.6 million in support of Iowa youth, bringing the tournament’s charitable giving total to more than $62million since 2007. Thank you for choosing to give back with us.
Donations made directly to the tournament will be distributed to our Tournament Charity Partners, who offer programming and services specifically in support of children:
- Blank Children’s Hospital
- MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center
- United Way of Central Iowa
- Variety – the Children’s Charity of Iowa
You may also choose to direct your donation to the Legacy Project, providing subsidized employment opportunities to low-income youth.
